General Endowment News, Monday, January 30th, 2006Endowment policies may rise in value thanks to a new wave of overseas investors, says a leading traded endowment company.
PolicyPlus, who have been trading endowment policies since 1989, says that German investment houses are buying up British with-profits endowment policies in increasing numbers, potentially pushing up prices to the benefit of anyone wishing to sell their endowment policy on the open market.
This is good news for would be sellers, especially as selling on the open market already tends to fetch a better price than the surrender value offered by the policy’s insurer.
